1、Water leakage in the chiller (first determine the location of the leakage)

1. Pump leakage (caused by poor connection of the shaft seal at the water pump or damage to the shaft seal)

Solution: Do not replace the shaft seal, directly replace the pump.

2. Water tank leakage (cause: sand holes or prolonged use at the welding position of the water tank)

Solution: Pull it back to the manufacturer and re weld the leaking position.

3. Ball valve and diverter (cause: leakage from ball valve and diverter)

Solution: Replace the ball valve and splitter.

4. The connection position of the horn on the cylinder (cause: water leakage at the same horn connection position)

Solution: Remove and reinstall the horn mouth.

5. Leakage of floating ball position (cause: the floating ball has already fallen or the position of the floating ball is adjusted incorrectly)

Solution: Reinstall the float and adjust the position of the float.

2、 The chiller does not cool (causes: refrigerant leakage in the system, compressor failure, computer board failure, overload)

1. System refrigerant leakage (inspection method: first check the low-pressure gauge to see if there is pressure. If there is no pressure, it indicates the type of refrigerant leakage)

Solution: Check for leaks and make up for them. Check that there is no copper pipe connection and see which position is leaking snow

2. The chiller compressor is faulty (it may also display a compressor fault) (Inspection method: Use a clamp gauge to clamp three wires of the compressor and obtain the working current. If the three wires are different, it is preliminarily judged that the compressor is faulty; the current of the 5HP compressor is around 9A-10A, which is normal, and vice versa, which is abnormal)

Solution: Replace the compressor

3. The computer board is broken (the temperature displayed on the computer board is abnormal or does not match the actual temperature)

Solution: Replace the computer board

4. Overload (during the use of the chiller, the temperature cannot reach the predetermined effect, or the temperature does not decrease, but instead rises)

Solution: It indicates that the power of the selected chiller is not large enough, and a larger chiller may need to be replaced to set the required temperature.

3、 Low pressure fault reported by chiller

1. Leakage of refrigerant in the system (inspection method: first check the low-pressure gauge to see if there is pressure. If there is no pressure or the pressure is small, it indicates leakage of refrigerant)

Solution: Check for leaks and make up for them. Check each copper pipe connection to see which position is leaking snow

2. Pressure controller faulty

Solution: Check if the pressure controller can be reset. If it cannot be reset, replace the pressure controller.

3. The computer board of the chiller is broken (everything else is fine, it may be due to a program error in the computer causing a low voltage fault)

Solution: Replace the computer board and readjust the parameters.

4. Filter blockage (if one side of the filter is lower than the capillary and the temperature on the other side does not change, it indicates that it is a filter blockage)

Solution: Replace the filter.

4、 Cold water machine high pressure alarm (turn on the high pressure gauge and if it keeps rising, a high pressure alarm will appear)

Generally, it is not a problem with the chiller manufacturer, and the customer's problem can be solved from the following:

1. Has the water tower water been turned on? Is the cooling water circuit unobstructed?

2. Will the water quality of the water tower be poor? If it has been used for more than six months without checking for water bubbles, it is necessary to clean the water cannon.

4. If it is air-cooled, clean the condenser if it is old.

5. If none of the above points can solve the problem, it may be a problem with the pressure controller and computer board, and the pressure controller or computer board needs to be replaced.
